David started his broadcasting career in commercial radio in 2001. He was initially given an early evening show on Home 107.9fm and later went on to present their weekend breakfast show for a year.
In 2002 David moved to the award winning UKRD owned station Stray fm where he is their longest serving presenter. David has been working with the BBC in Yorkshire since 2006 as an Entertainment correspondent. Since 2011 he has been one half of the popular Box versus Stalls on BBC Leeds and in 2014 become the presenter of West Yorkshire Arts with fellow presenter Nick Ahad. He is also a regular contributor on BBC Sheffield.
A hugely experienced interviewer he has interviewed everyone from the actress Emma Thompson, Oscar winning producers to politicians.
Internationally he has worked in Australia on both radio and TV.
